Notre Dame & Bus Tour

Our first full day in Paris ...

Friday, 6th July and Inside Notre Dame (when the queue was more reasonable!) 

 The stained glass is fantastic.

The hight is amazing. 

Plenty of photos being taken (no flash!) 

 As usual - lots of people.

At Notre Dame we took the Red Bus Tour (upstairs) around Paris and used it for two days to save some walking.

Eglise de la Madaleine.

Another few bridges and, of course, the Eiffel Tower in the background.

 Place de la Concorde.

Paris Opera Nationale. 

Avenue des Champs Elysees.

Grand Palais. An Exhibition Hall.

The absolutely crazy traffic in Place de Gaulle (around the Arc de Triomphe). 

 Arc de Triomphe.

Winston Churchill Avenue and the Petite Palais. Winston is the statue figure on the right.










Les Invalides.

Eiffel Tower (the blue on the ground seemed to be something to do with preparations for a Triathlon!)
