New York Day 2

Dinner last night, another visit to Times Square, 9/11 Memorial and Staten Island Ferry, Wall Street ...
This was the Tick Tock Diner on 8th Avenue, apparently a well known diner and certainly an experience
A balmy night so we walked to Times Square again to find that it was packed to overflowing on a Saturday night with an open air concert at one end of the Square
Next full day started with a visit to the 9/11 Memorial
Two pools set in the footprints of the original Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre. Thirty foot water falls on four sides with water falling into a central void
Anne and Terri standing by the South Pool with interesting reflection of buildings in the glass face of the new World Trade Centre Tower 4
A reflective moment reading the 9/11 Memorial Guide
The new World Trade Centre Tower 1 is 1776 feet and is now the tallest building in the US.

Manhattan skyline from the Staten Island Ferry as we head out to the Statue of Liberty. The new World Trade Centre Towers 1 and 4 can be seen to the left hand side.
The Statue of Liberty (wish I had had a longer telephoto lens!)
